What is Feed The City?
Dallas-based mobile app, TangoTab launched the first Feed The City event in January 2015. Feed The City is a community event that brings together people of all different ages and backgrounds to help feed their fellow neighbors.
The flagship event started in Dallas as a sandwich making event. When people would gather, they would put together thousands of meals for people in need that would go to a local food charity. Today, Feed The City has expanded into over 15 monthly events in cities around the country. The event is hosted by volunteers that commit to being a leader in the fight against hunger. Company's, religious groups, schools, organizations and more host popup events in their communities. |
